  1. I am so sorry that you have so much violence in the USA. But apart from walks and rallies, what positive steps do you think need to be taken on the ground to make a real difference. What will strike at the root of the violence in society?

  2. That’s a great question, LGS. I think social impact groups and community-based programs are a good start. If you get youth interacting with one another, they might start developing a sense of togetherness, attachment and empathy. The problem in poorer cities like Flint is that monies coming in are minimal and are largely going toward municipal expenses. Nature of the beast, I guess.
