  1. This moron is an excellent example of what is wrong in this country! I hope the restaurant and all the patrons just laugh at him and let him picket his little heart out! The restaurant did more than they needed to do, he needs to get a life! (or better yet a job!)

  2. I’m pretty new to your site, Andre, but I think I see what direction you generally go in. I have to say, I must respectfully disagree with you on this story. The restaurant clearly marketed themselves as an “All you can eat” establishment, not an “All we THINK you SHOULD eat” establishment. If you aren’t willing to actually allow a person to eat all they can, then don’t advertise it. Plain and simple.

  3. Unless I missed something, the sign doesn’t say “all the fish you can eat,” or any other meat. It says “All U Can Eat/ Fri Fish Fry…Includes Soup.” I say give the rotund eater all he can eat of a mess of greens and not a mess of fish, of the soup and not the salad.

Besides, if Ol’ Bill has an unpaid tab, the restaurant can refuse to serve him indefinitely until he settles his account. Bill sounds like a greedy ingrate to me!

Not to worry: With Bill’s weight, he won’t be around much longer.

    • Well, yeah it does. It was an all-you-can-eat fish fry. Other foods like soup were included. So going back to my original point: if you aren’t willing to honor that as an establishment, don’t post it.

      • Until this fat porker starts paying his bills, he shouldn’t be eating there in the first place. SMH. I bet this dude is a Tea Party Republican.

      • I wasn’t responding to you. But since you want to reaffirm your point, and to use my point to do so, you need to examine the sign more carefully, and the language.

The sign reads: “All U Can Eat.” Below that it says Fri Fish Fry. It implies that “all you can eat” will be fish, but it doesn’t state that unambiguously. Without more specificity, “All U Can Eat” can mean almost anything. Using just this sign alone, lawyers can battle it out for days as to what it means.

My contention: It means absolutely nothing, because it can mean almost anything.

And my final point goes uncontested: “If Ol’ Bill has an unpaid tab, the restaurant can refuse to serve him indefinitely until he settles his account. Bill sounds like a greedy ingrate to me!”

  4. Introspection :

Absolutely! If this fool has an unpaid tab, what exactly can he sue for? He doesn’t have a leg to stand on. And at this pace, he won’t have legs at all.

  5. Well, you know what they say: “Teach a man to fish, you won’t need to have an all-you-can-eat fish fry.”
