As reported by the Detroit News, University of Michigan Athletic Director Dave Brandon said he “still has work to do” in order to complete his evaluation of head football coach Rich Rodriguez (“Rich Rod”). In short, over the past three years, the University of Michigan’s football program has boasted one of THEEE worst collections of seasons in its long and storied history. Rich Rod has been at the helm during this disasterous run. **UPDATE: The firing is back on again, as confirmed by the University’s Athletic Department. They’re saying he was “relieved of his coaching duties”, a gentle euphemism for “kicked out on his ass.”
